About This Blog & Me
Just a few words for the curious ones and those of you who don’t know what they’re doing here.
What is this blog about?
It’s about things I do for a living and for fun. These things are: web development, Linux administration, software integration and generally making computers less annoying. My main focus will be on the development of CMSes with PHP and web frameworks because this is what I’ve been involved in for quite some time. Some other topics may include experimenting with various programming languages, web and desktop usability issues, optimising server software and little funny programs you can put in your windows tray.
Why another techblog?
Google says there are 2 500 000 techblogs on the Internet. Why would you want to start another one, you might ask. Well, why not? Everybody can have a piece of floor on the net, so can I. No one gets hurt and hopefully some of you will benefit from my experiences described here.
Who am I?
My name is Damian Gawęda. I’m a 26 year-old web-developer and Linux administrator from Lodz, Poland. I currently live and work in London, UK.
You can take a look at my portfolio here.
Feel free to contact me for whatever reason.
